Welcome to our Social Knitworking site

The 'Wild Woolly Women' have been meeting since April 2009 to share their enthusiasm for all things woolly.  We are not just a knitting group! Many of us are also keen spinners and proficient weavers and felters. You are invited to join us, have some fun, learn a new skill or brush up on some old ones – all levels are welcome.

We are based between Cheltenham and Cirencester, in the village of Cowley at Deerpark.

We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday (10.00-1.00pm) to knit and spin, chat and eat lots of homemade cake.

We also have a session on 2nd Wednesday of every month, at Jolly Nice Café, Chalford and the 4th Wednesday at Cirencester Organic Farm Shop Café.

We have been involved in many charity projects over the years; see What we’ve been up to. The latest is making Christmas Puddings for the Cheltenham Cobalt Centre, which helps to raise funds for new equipment to improve the breast screening facilities in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.
